+ Rieder Ltd. was retained to provide three separate studies
for DND at CFB Trenton. The first assignment involved
an in-depth study of all Flightline operations, buildings
and resources
in order to provide appropriate recommendations for
expansion and rationalization.
The second assignment
entailed an extensive study of all the non-flightline
operations, buildings and resources, which involved
over twenty different Units, to provide a cohesive
development plan that would co-locate Units and optimize
infrastructure to provide increased efficiency and
an overall infrastructure Development Master Plan
for future 8Wing initiatives.
The third assignment
was a comprehensive study for the planning, rationalization
and consolidation of 8AMS, the main air maintenance
unit headquartered in Hangar 10, in order to maximize
operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
