This 5 1/2 storey, 400,000 sq. ft. office/institutional building was originally
built in 1915 for the International Order of Oddfellows as a meeting and congregational
gathering place, complete with library, stage area, and even a bowling alley.
Currently the building is being used as a mixed-use facility for retail, office,
and institutional activities.
The complete design program entailed a total renovation of the lobby and
common use areas; construction of a new enclosed stairwell, a new roof; redesigned
and re-commissioned heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, new
exterior windows and doors, external refurbishing of the existing stonework,
and new landscaping at street side.
