Aboriginal Cultural Centre

G'Nadjiwon Ki is a Canadian Aboriginal Tourism Association based in Midland,
Ontario. It is dedicated to the creation and development of Aboriginal business
and education, for the advancement of Aboriginal culture and economic
independence.
The site is a 45 acre property in Midland, Ontario, near Georgian Bay
and in a developed tourist area. G'Nadjiwon Ki intends to develop this site
in a manner consistent with its mandate, and retained Reinders + Rieder Ltd.
to formulate a Master Plan to form the basis for phased development. The Master
Plan is also integral in the acquisition of approvals and funding.
The Facility includes an RV Campsite with leisure area and camp facilities.
An outdoor amphitheatre will be constructed in the existing site contours,
as part of a Performing Arts Centre. A Heritage Village will also be built,
as a tourist attraction and for educational purposes. The development shall
include an Aboriginal Business Centre, a Resource Training and Education Centre,
Tourist Management Centre, an Art Gallery, and a free standing Fine Arts and
Discovery (Interpretive) Building. Over half of the site shall be naturalized
and developed into a forested area for a variety of outdoor activities including
hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing etc.
