Bethel Canadian Reformed Church
Richmond Hill, ON
This 14,000 square
foot Church facility was completed in 2005, just north of
Elgin Mills and Bayview Avenue intersection. This project
demonstrates RRL’s experience of working with a Client who
had a high level of interior design content within their
facility.
Designing a facility that had interior demands from accommodating an existing
Church pipe organ to providing a modern interior appeal to a traditional styled
congregation was an interesting challenge that was accomplished.
This project experienced numerous site constraints with the local authorities
as well as the Toronto Regional Conservation Authorities added to the project
complexity but while other projects in the area could not obtain building permits
due to Oakridges Moraine discussions, RRL was able to work with the municipality
to accomplish this project.
