Carruthers Creek Community Church

RRL was retained to design new worship facilities for Carruthers Creek Community Church in Ajax.

The church includes such components as a sanctuary seating 800 persons, a full gymnasium, rehearsal hall, meeting/classrooms, nursery, administrative offices, assembly hall, a complete kitchen, library and welcome centre.

The front of the building features a sweeping curtain wall that leads into the fellowship lobby and welcome centre, guiding the visitor easily to points throughout the building. The church was designed to present a broader appeal to the community at large.

The Sanctuary is designed like a theatre to address the modern style of worship of the congregation as well as to be ‘friendly’ to seekers.
