Grand River Transit provides bus transit service in the Kitchener / Waterloo
/ Cambridge area. As part of an ongoing improvement and expansion program GRT
required an addition to their bus storage and service facility in Kitchener.
The project was an expansion of the existing bus storage facility to accommodate
an additional 42 buses.
The facility remained fully operational throughout
construction. The Project was completed in 2005 at a cost of $2,000,000.00.
Reinders + Rieder Ltd.
was retained to provide architectural, structural and site engineering services
for this expansion.
