GO Transit provides commuter rail and bus service within the Greater Toronto
Area. As part of an ongoing service upgrade, the Agincourt GO Station was designated
for improvement. This included parking lot upgrades, platform improvements, and
a redesign and reconstruction of the station building. The Station provides integrated
service for bus, automobiles, pedestians, and commuter rail.
The station building is 1200 sf (1090 sm), and includes a ticketing station,
waiting area, washrooms, service rooms, storage, and other ancillary spaces.
The station building meets all of GO Transit's requirements for accessibility,
security, communications and ticketing.
Reinders + Rieder Ltd. was retained to provide architecture, and site
engineering for this project.
